After breast reconstruction surgery, scars will be there due to the incision wounds. The scars eventually fade away within a year after surgery, but the marks will always remain. A reconstructed breast looks and feels very different from a natural breast. After the mastectomy, you will not feel any sensation in the breast and nipple.
